The Checkup is an e-magazine for the healthcare community, featuring articles written by doctors on various topics like science, lifestyle, culture, and much more, offering engaging content for leisure reading.
Objective
To kickstart social media marketing for promoting the magazine and assist the editor in enhancing both the content strategy and visual appeal of the magazine.

Social Media Marketing
I implemented a consistent Mon-Fri posting schedule, delivering both helpful and fun content for doctors and medical students, including quotes, interviews, comics, tips, and film recs. I collaborated with healthcare professionals on special days for posts, live sessions, and events. These strategies successfully attracted more social media visitors, who subsequently engaged with the e-magazine as well. I also quickly promoted new articles, resulting in increased readership.
E-Magazine Strategy
I pitched a new section for the magazine, ‘Community Posts,’ where we would get stories from various healthcare professionals on a shared topic. The editor was impressed with the concept and added it to the website. I curated the articles, which involved brainstorming topics, contacting doctors for collaboration, collecting their stories, editing the content, and compiling the final piece.
